Who we are
NEXT ROUND is an independent Birmingham gaming tournament series. For questions about this notice or your personal data, email info@nextroundseries.co.uk.
What we collect
When you join the launch list, we collect your email address, whether you are interested in competing or spectating, how you heard about us and any campaign or referral code attached to the link you used.
How we use it
We use this information to send event announcements and ticket updates, manage competitor and spectator interest, plan event capacity, understand which campaigns work and build future NEXT ROUND events.
Our legal basis
We rely on your consent to send marketing and event updates. You can withdraw that consent at any time by using an unsubscribe link or emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before your request.
How long we keep it
We keep launch-list information until you unsubscribe or for a maximum of 24 months after your last interaction with NEXT ROUND, unless we need to retain a limited record to meet a legal obligation.
Who receives it
We may use trusted website, email, analytics and ticketing providers to run NEXT ROUND. They may process information only for the service they provide to us. We do not sell your personal information.
Tickets and payments
When tickets go on sale, the selected ticket provider will process booking and payment information under its own privacy notice. We will identify that provider before you are asked to pay.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The launch version of this website does not use non-essential advertising cookies. If analytics or advertising tools requiring consent are added, the site will ask for that consent and this notice will be updated.
Age restriction
NEXT ROUND 001 is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect launch-list information from children.
